Jakarta (ANTARA) - Setelah menikah dengan Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez kembali menyapa penikmat musik dengan sebuah karya lagu baru bernuansa nostalgia romansa berjudul “In the Dark”.
Lagu ini resmi dirilis pada 23 Oktober 2025, bersamaan dengan penayangan serial Netflix "Nobody Wants This Season 2" sebagai soundtrack film tersebut.
Lirik lagu “In the Dark” mengisahkan tentang cinta yang tulus tanpa pamrih, menggambarkan kesetiaan seseorang yang tetap hadir untuk mendukung dan mendampingi pasangannya untuk kuat melewati masa-masa sulit dalam hidupnya.
Berdasarkan daftar kredit, "In the Dark” ditulis oleh Andrew Watt, Louis Bell, Ali Tamposi, Justin Tranter, Henry Walter, dan Selena Gomez.
Sementara untuk produksi lagu, nama Andrew Watt, Louis Bell, dan Cirkut tercatat sebagai produser yang menggarap aransemen dan tekstur lagu.
Sejak dirilis, video lagu yang disutradarai oleh Luke Orlando itu berhasil mendapat sambutan hangat dari penggemar. Hingga kini, unggahan resminya di YouTube telah ditonton lebih dari 1,9 juta kali dan mendapat sekitar 192 ribu suka dari para pendengar di seluruh dunia.
