Jakarta (ANTARA) - Lagu "Winter Wonderland", meskipun identik dengan musim liburan Natal saat musim dingin, sebenarnya tidak secara eksplisit menyebut dan menceritakan hari raya Natal.
Ditulis oleh Felix Bernard dan Richard Smith pada 1934 dan dinyanyikan pertama kali oleh Ray Charles, "Winter Wonderland" menceritakan kegembiraan sepasang kekasih yang sedang bermain salju pada musim dingin.
Sejak diciptakan, "Winter Wonderland" dibawakan oleh banyak penyanyi terkenal, termasuk maestro aktor dan penyanyi Harry Lillis Crosby Junior atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai Bing Crosby, yang membawakan lagu itu sekitar tahun 60an pada album "I Wish You A Merry Christmas".
